Join ACEH as a Culturally Aligned Support Worker in Victoria, BC, helping to empower Indigenous Family Members. This temporary role focuses on essential services in wellness, housing, and cultural connection.

The I’Y, I, ȻEN position is pivotal in addressing homelessness among First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. You will provide individualized, culturally-informed support while helping families integrate into community resources. This role requires sensitivity and insight into cultural needs and community support systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster respectful and supportive relationships with families

• Provide housing transition and cultural support services

• Guide families in accessing food security resources

• Conduct community event coordination and engagement

• Lead life skills programming and support initiatives

Requirements:

• Experience working collaboratively with diverse populations

• Knowledge of Indigenous histories and current issues

• Current First Aid and CPR certifications required

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License with reliable transportation

• Ability to handle crises and support conflict resolution
