In this permanent role with the Government of Nova Scotia, you will use your Child & Youth Care Worker diploma to help clients achieve resilience and positive change. Collaborating with social workers, you'll design strategies, engage with families, and provide vital advocacy and resources. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop strategies for independent living support

• Build positive relationships with families and youth

• Advocate for client access to community resources

• Assist with income and social supports

• Conduct independent visits and evaluations of services

Requirements:

• Approved diploma in Child & Youth Care Work

• Knowledge of child development and family dynamics

• Strong communication skills for client engagement

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Experience in child welfare or social services is an asset
