Position: Licensed Social Worker for Student Support
Location: South Central Manitoba (Altona)

Join a dedicated pupil services team as a Licensed Social Worker. Help students overcome personal, emotional, and social challenges while fostering a positive educational environment.

The role focuses on delivering counseling services to students and their families in Texas. You will employ individual and group counseling skills, conduct home visits, and refer clients to community resources. Engagement with parents and school staff is essential in addressing issues affecting students' academic performance and behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for students

• Facilitate communication among school personnel, students, and parents

• Provide crisis support and counseling as needed

• Create and manage parenting training and support groups

• Identify causes of students' dysfunction and recommend interventions

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in counseling from an accredited institution

• Valid Texas License as a master social worker

• Minimum two years of social work experience

• Strong consultation and communication skills

• Ability to access and utilize community resources
