Part-Time Youth Care Worker Position

Location: Upper Columbia Region (Golden)

Become a key support figure for students with Rocky Mountain School District No. 6 as a part-time Youth Care Worker. Work with students to foster emotional well-being and resilience.

This permanent role, effective September 8, 2026, entails providing social-emotional and behavioral support under the Principal's direction. You will develop coping skills, manage behavioral challenges, and collaborate with families and staff to design effective interventions. Your input will be vital in creating a supportive learning environment for students in need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply strategies for building student self-awareness

• Implement program goals addressing students' challenges

• Connect students with additional support services

• Collaborate to design and assess interventions

• Collect data for programming support and reports

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Diploma in adolescent psychology or related field

• Valid driver's license required

• Certification in CPI or trauma-informed practice preferred

• Experience in a multi-disciplinary team is an asset
