Family Wellness Coach at Chimo Youth Retreat

Location: Sherwood Park West

Drive positive change as a Family Wellness Coach at Chimo Youth Retreat in Sherwood Park, Leduc, and Fort Saskatchewan. Support families through direct intervention and collaborative service delivery.

This role at Chimo Youth Retreat Centre focuses on enhancing lives for children, youth, and families involved with Children’s Services. As a Family Wellness Coach, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with families, facilitate effective crisis interventions, and coordinate community resources. Your work will include direct home visits, parent support, and therapeutic youth initiatives aimed at preserving family ties and ensuring long-term wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on family support and crisis intervention

• Work collaboratively with families and other service providers

• Assist in facilitating cultural programming for youth

• Manage transportation needs during family sessions

• Build strong connections with community resources

Requirements:

• Desired degree in Human Services or equivalent experience

• Minimum two years in frontline human services roles

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and extensive driving history

• Current auto insurance and COVID-19 vaccinations

• Eligibility for fleet insurance approval
