Position: Full-Time Youth Services Worker Position
Location: Northwestern Ontario (Red Lake)

Step into a rewarding role as a full-time Youth Services Worker at Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority. You will engage youth, enhance programming, and promote community wellbeing.

This full-time temporary position concludes in August 2026 and calls for individuals who can develop youth initiatives while building strong community connections.

Experience with First Nations youth is valued alongside strong communication and mentoring skills. Your work will include program planning and health promotion efforts through various channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with community health leaders

• Support the development of youth programming resources

• Conduct health initiatives via multiple platforms

• Mentor youth workers and deliver training

• Advocate for health equity and resource-sharing

Requirements:

• Preference for candidates of First Nations ancestry

• Experience in youth programming, especially with First Nations

• Strong English communication skills

• Comfortable using office software and tools

• Ability to meet role demands regularly
