Position: Home Visitor for Families First Program
Location: Southeastern Manitoba (Lorette)

Enhance parenting skills and promote child well-being as a Families First Home Visitor. Work with families using a strength-based approach during crucial early childhood years.

As a Families First Home Visitor, you will support families in their homes from pregnancy through the first five years of life. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in social services or early childhood education. Collaborate with Public Health professionals to implement evidence-informed practices and connect families with vital resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster positive parent-child relationships through home visits

• Support healthy childhood growth and development

• Utilize strength-based and solution-focused practices

• Implement curriculum-based resources and adult learning principles

• Assist families in connecting to community services

Requirements:

• One year of relevant experience with families and young children

• High School Diploma or equivalent, Community Support Worker certification preferred

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle

• Ability to meet physical demands and travel as needed

Contribute to family well-being and community support as a Families First Home Visitor.
