Position: Brandon Family Service Social Worker Role
Location: Riding Mountain (Neepawa)

Empower families in Brandon, Manitoba as a Family Service Social Worker with Child and Family Services of Western Manitoba. This crucial role involves assessments, case management, and community collaboration focused on child safety.

In this position, you'll deliver protective and supportive services to children and families, participating actively in assessments and crisis intervention. You'll work in a supportive environment with opportunities for professional growth, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams and community partners to make a significant impact in the lives of children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments related to child neglect and abuse

• Formulate intervention strategies with families

• Provide ongoing case management and support

• Work with foster families and community agencies

• Document cases and support legal proceedings when needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master of Social Work (BSW/MSW) required

• Registration eligibility with Manitoba College of Social Workers

• Related experience in child welfare an asset

• Exceptional communication and relationship skills

• Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s License and eligibility
