Location: North Interlake (Stonewall)

Join Wedgwood as a Youth Mentor Specialist, focusing on creating stable, therapeutic environments. Use relationship-based methods to guide youth in developing essential life skills and emotional health.

As a Youth Mentor Specialist, you'll collaborate with therapists to implement individual treatment plans tailored to each youth's needs. Encouraging self-worth and positive identity formation will be central to your mentorship. You will engage youth in structured activities that foster problem-solving and communication skills, creating an open and supportive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies

• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for youths

• Build mentoring relationships using trauma-informed care

• Provide support in behavioral regulation and crises

• Administer and document medications as assigned

Requirements:

• At least 20 years of age

• High school diploma or GED necessary

• Valid driver's license for transportation duties

• Must lift up to 50 lbs. for physical interventions

• Must adhere to Wedgwood’s values
