Youth Wellness Programming Worker in Muncey

Location: Elgin (Dorchester)

Lead impactful youth programs as a Youth Wellness Worker with Chippewas of the Thames First Nation. This position champions holistic wellness support for youth, working onsite in Muncey, Ontario.

You will engage in mentoring and delivering culturally relevant programming aimed at promoting healthy relationships and emotional well-being among youth and young adults. By collaborating with families, schools, and community organizations, you will create programs that address the unique needs of Indigenous youth, fostering identity and belonging in both on-reserve and off-reserve contexts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and deliver community wellness programming for youth

• Provide mentorship and advocacy to young individuals

• Promote leadership and life skills development through workshops

• Establish connections with community service providers

• Document program processes and maintain confidentiality

Requirements:

• Credential in Social Service Worker or equivalent experience

• 1-2 years working in community or youth services

• Experience in First Nation settings preferred

• Excellent facilitation and documentation skills

• Valid Class G Ontario Driver’s Licence with insurance

Support youth and families through culturally safe programming and relationship-building initiatives.
