Position: Rural Community Worker for Migrant Support
Location: Southeastern Alberta (Drumheller)

Empower Temporary Foreign Workers in Drumheller and Hannah with CCIS. As a Rural Community Outreach Worker, you’ll facilitate integration, advocacy, and support services.

Calgary Catholic Immigration Society (CCIS) is hiring for a pivotal role aiding migrant workers and their families. This part-time position focuses on settlement support and social inclusion in rural areas. You will design outreach initiatives, conduct needs assessments, and connect TFWs with local organizations to enhance their well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop outreach plans for community engagement

• Conduct needs assessments and craft action plans

• Facilitate group information sessions on rights

• Build partnerships with local organizations

• Maintain accurate client records and feedback

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in social sciences or relevant field

• Previous experience with newcomer populations

• Knowledge of community resources and services

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
