Part-Time Recovery Support Worker

Location: Harrison Lake Region (Agassiz)

Enhance community well-being as a Part-Time Recovery Home Support Worker with Sq’éwqel in Agassiz, BC. Engage directly with clients, assist with daily living activities, and promote social inclusion.

You will work in a culturally safe environment dedicated to Indigenous knowledge and wellness. This role involves collaborating with the Recovery Home Supervisor to provide crisis intervention, coping strategies, and support to clients facing mental health and addiction challenges. Your contributions will foster a resilient community and promote wellness among individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide crisis support and document incidents

• Support clients in daily living tasks

• Maintain professional conduct and ethical standards

• Assist with intake processes and household supervision

• Engage clients in recreational and social activities

Requirements:

• Grade 12 and relevant Social Services credentials

• Food Safe Level 1 and First Aid certifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in psychiatric settings

• Background working with Indigenous clients

• Valid class 5 driver's license and reliable transport
