Position: Supportive Community Worker Needed

Become a Community Support Worker with Pacific Coast Community Resources. Focus on empowering individuals in staffed homes by providing compassionate support in their daily lives.

In this essential role, you will work as part of a dedicated team committed to promoting the independence of the individuals you support. Responsibilities include developing service plans, fostering relationships with family and community, and ensuring a clean, healthy environment. Your experience with behaviour management will be vital in fulfilling mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advocate for choice and independence of supported persons

• Develop and execute Personal Service Plans

• Assist with daily activities and administer medications

• Cultivate relationships with families and professionals

• Maintain a clean, well-organized living space

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education and Community Support Worker Diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of 2 years in community health or social services

• Current First Aid/CPR and Food Safe certifications

• Valid Class 4 driver's license for full-time roles

• Background clearance for vulnerable populations
