Position: Recreation Aide Needed at Hallowell House
Location: Quinte Shores, East Northumberland County & Prince Edward County (Picton)

Join Hallowell House LTC in Picton, Ontario, as a Recreation Aide and make a difference in the lives of residents. This part-time role focuses on facilitating engaging activities and ensuring joy for all involved.

As a temporary Recreation Aide until May 2027, you will be critical in planning and executing both group and individual programs based on assessed resident needs. This position includes responsibilities for transportation, monitoring resident conditions, and maintaining accurate records to enhance your programs' effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and evaluate recreation programs

• Clean and set up activity areas as required

• Report significant changes in resident conditions

• Keep records aligned with department policy

• Collaborate with various departments to meet needs

Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma in recreation or related field

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

• Knowledge in program planning for diverse populations

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

• Completion of TB Skin test and vulnerable sector check
