Location: Timiskaming North (Iroquois Falls A)

Join the Investigation, Assessment and Ongoing team at NEOFACS in Timmins as a full-time worker in children's services. Provide essential child protection and preventative services while developing risk assessments and protection plans.

The role requires delivering a variety of services to children and families while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements. Candidates should possess an MSW or BSW, or relevant social services diploma. Excellent communication skills and flexibility in working hours are paramount for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide preventative and child protection services to families

• Complete risk assessments for children and families

• Develop and document protection plans effectively

• Engage in required administrative documentation for dispositions

• Interact with children, youth, and families with empathy

Requirements:

• MSW or BSW preferred; social services diploma considered

• Experience with children and families is valued

• Ability to interpret relevant legislation

• Bilingual in English and French required

• Valid G2 driver’s license and access to a vehicle
