Become a Child Youth Worker with Pacific Coast Children's Resources, supporting young people in their community. Work in a vibrant team to promote independence and well-being among youth residents.

In this Child Youth Worker role, you will engage with young individuals living in staffed homes. You'll develop and implement Personal Service Plans, advocate for their rights, and provide support for daily living activities.

Your role is vital in fostering relationships with youths and their families while ensuring high standards of care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advocate for children’s rights and choices

• Engage effectively with each supported child

• Implement and document Personal Service Plans

• Foster positive relationships with families and professionals

• Assist with daily living and medication needs

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education required

• Child and Youth Care Diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years in community social services

• Experience in Trauma-Informed Practice and Harm Reduction

• Valid driver's license required for Full-Time roles
