Position: Intake Coordinator for Addictions Services

Champion community wellness as an Intake and Resource Coordinator at the Abegweit First Nation Mi'kmaq Wellness Centre. Support addiction services through client engagement and resource coordination.

This role, under the Manager of Mental Wellness and Addictions, focuses on community-based addictions programming. You'll play an essential role in client intake, needs assessment, and service coordination to help individuals navigate their care journey effectively. Your contributions will ensure responsive and culturally safe supports are available for community members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate client intake processes and referrals

• Assist clients in navigating treatment and aftercare services

• Build relationships with internal and external service providers

• Support culturally grounded programming aligned with Mi'kmaq values

• Monitor client participation and maintain accurate documentation

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Health or Social Services

• Experience in addictions and mental health programming

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Valid driver's license and access to transportation

• Current Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
