Become a Community-Focused Home Visitor with Families First, fostering strong parent-child relationships and promoting healthy development in the early years. Work closely with diverse communities.
In this role, you will engage families using a strength-based approach, enhancing parenting skills and ensuring safety. Collaboration with Public Health Nurses is key to implementing effective home visiting practices. Your goal will be to support families from pregnancy to the early years, facilitating their connection to community resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Initiate and maintain regular home visits to families
• Implement strength-based, culturally safe practices
• Share evidence-informed activities for developmental support
• Collaborate with a team to provide comprehensive care
• Build community connections for ongoing family support
Requirements:
• One year of experience with families from prenatal to age five
• High School Diploma or GED is mandated
• Certification in a related field is favorable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid Class 5 driver's license is necessary
Utilize your expertise in early childhood development to make a positive difference in the lives of families with Families First.
