Recreation Programs Developer

Become a pivotal part of our team as a Recreation Worker dedicated to enhancing client mental and physical well-being through structured activity programs. You will design and implement exciting activities that support recovery needs.

In this role, you will work directly with a culturally diverse client base, including the elderly and disabled. With two years of relevant healthcare experience, you will be responsible for creating personalized activity plans while adhering to medical restrictions. Your expertise in Microsoft programs and exceptional communication skills will enhance collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute tailored recreational programs for diverse clients

• Develop group activities based on assessed client interests

• Maintain accurate documents and program statistics

• Ensure activities are client-focused and safe

• Report client progress to the interdisciplinary team

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 Drivers License for Manitoba

• Current Food Handler Training Certificate Level 1

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and IT applications

• Strong organizational skills with a focus on detail

• Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration
