Lead the Records Management team at Seabird Island, contributing to an inclusive environment respectful of Indigenous knowledge. This term contract role focuses on enhancing records security and accessibility.

As the Records Team Lead, you will oversee the Records Management program, ensuring effective organization and collaboration among team members. You will supervise daily activities, assist in developing crucial records management systems, and provide guidance on policies to stakeholders. Your leadership will directly impact the community's ability to access vital records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Records program, ensuring effective team collaboration

• Develop and oversee Records Management system specifications

• Prepare reports and presentations for management

• Assist others in utilizing technology for records management

• Update Records Policies and Procedures Manual

Requirements:

• Certification in Records / Information Management

• Minimum five years of experience in records management

• Strong leadership and organizational skills

• Understanding of Indigenous cultures and traditions

• Valid class 5 driver's license for community transportation
