In this casual role, the Shelter Resource Worker collaborates with the Site Manager and embodies the organization's mission. You will manage intakes and provide vital support to guests while connecting them to necessary resources. Familiarity with addiction, mental health, and community services is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist homeless adults facing various challenges

• Conduct intakes and advise on available services

• Record data accurately and maintain logs

• Support coworkers and provide guidance to newcomers

• Uphold health and safety program compliance

Requirements:

• Certificate or two years of related experience

• Crisis Intervention Skills knowledge an asset

• Current Occupational First Aid Level 1 required

• Must have strong organizational abilities

• Minimum two years of sobriety if applicable
