Wikwemikong Jordan’s Principle Service Coordinator

Serve the community as the Jordan’s Principle Service Coordinator at Kina Gbezhgomi Child and Family Services in Wikwemikong. Focus on enabling access to essential services for children and families.

As the Service Coordinator, you will manage and support families engaging with Jordan’s Principle. A background in Human Services or a related area is necessary, along with direct experience supporting children and families, particularly within Indigenous contexts. Your familiarity with community resources will enhance service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Jordan’s Principle documentation and service workflows

• Collaborate to identify and fulfill unmet family needs

• Assist in developing required reporting documentation

• Provide education on the Jordan’s Principle process to staff

• Liaise with First Nations partners and service providers

Requirements:

• University degree or two-year diploma in a relevant field

• Minimum one year of experience in family support

• Knowledge of Indigenous community dynamics

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to facilitate advocacy and application processes
