NEOFACS Protection Support Worker Position

Location: New Liskeard

Transform lives in New Liskeard as a Protection Support Worker with NEOFACS. This full-time contract role focuses on providing protective and preventative services to vulnerable children and families.

In this position, you will be instrumental in the Investigation, Assessment and Ongoing team, supporting families in conjunction with agency services. Candidates must hold a College Diploma in Human Services, possess strong communication skills, and be flexible with work hours and travel. Bilingualism is a must, along with an understanding of legislative requirements in child welfare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer protective services for children under agency care

• Maintain relationships and support for families

• Record detailed accounts of services provided

• Collaborate with a diverse professional team

• Apply relevant legislation in service delivery

Requirements:

• Diploma in Human Services required

• Must be bilingual in English/French

• Valid G2 driver’s license at application

• Access to personal transportation

• Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities
