Position: Case Worker for Community Support
Location: Ontario Centre (Queensville)

Your role will involve providing vital services to empower individuals facing homelessness.

The Salvation Army is seeking a dedicated Case Worker to facilitate essential support at the Drop-In Centre. You will engage with clients, provide access to resources like meals and hygiene products, and offer crisis counseling and advocacy. Your work will include maintaining meticulous client documentation and promoting healthy activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote a safe and engaging environment for clients

• Facilitate orientation and ensure compliance with Drop-In regulations

• Provide meals and hygiene resources to outreach clients

• Assist with case management and crisis intervention

• Collaborate with community partners for client referrals

Requirements:

• College diploma in Social Sciences or equivalent experience

• 1-3 years with homeless populations preferred

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of mental health and women's issues

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies
