Casual Support Worker at Lookout

Location: Central Island (Chemainus)

Join Lookout Housing and Health Society as a Casual Tenant Support Worker in Duncan, BC. This role focuses on helping adults with low income achieve stability and independence through dedicated support.

As a Tenant Support Worker, you will collaborate with residents and assist them in meeting their goals. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will create service plans, administer medications, and ensure that basic needs are fulfilled.

Your role is critical in fostering a healthier living environment for the tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct tenant assessments and develop individualized plans

• Provide crisis intervention and financial management support

• Monitor and facilitate tenant needs consistently

• Keep detailed records and statistical evaluations

• Assist with training volunteers within the facility

Requirements:

• Community Social Service Diploma or equivalent experience

• Minimum two years of relevant experience required

• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License if necessary

• Criminal Record Clearance for Vulnerable Sector

• OFA Level 1 First Aid Certification
