Mental Health Assessor Coordinator Position

Location: La Ronge

The La Ronge Health Centre is seeking a Mental Health Assessor Coordinator for full-time work, essential for managing case assessments and services. This role emphasizes client support and inter-agency collaboration.

In this key position, you will assess initial service requests and provide comprehensive coordination in Mental Health and Addiction Services. Your responsibilities will include crisis management and data collection for performance monitoring, ensuring high-quality care is accessible. Your capacity to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team will be critical in this impactful role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and screen initial service requests for mental health

• Coordinate planning and referrals for client interventions

• Facilitate crisis response services for awaiting appointments

• Compile community resources and support agency information

• Maintain accurate records while ensuring client confidentiality

Requirements:

• Degree in a relevant field, such as Social Work or Health Sciences

• Proven experience in mental health and addiction environments

• Class 5 driver’s license required

• Registration with Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers

• Proficient interpersonal and communication abilities
