Location: Comox
Join Integra Support Services as a Casual Community Support Worker in Comox, BC. Provide essential support to adults with diverse abilities, ensuring their dignity and well-being through tailored care.
As a key member of our team, your role involves working with clients with developmental disabilities and high behavioral support needs. You will assist with personal care and household management, while fostering community involvement and independence. Your work will be vital to developing enriching experiences for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer personalized care to clients in need
• Assist with personal hygiene and daily activities
• Help with meal prep and light household chores
• Promote clients’ social integration and life skill development
• Keep detailed records and monitor client health
Requirements:
• Diploma in Community Support Work or equivalent
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence
• Current First Aid with CPR C certificate
• Valid TB Test and clear Criminal Record Check
• MANDT Certification (or willingness to pursue)
