Support children with disabilities as a casual Children’s Outreach Worker in Vermilion, offering flexible hours around family schedules.
Catholic Social Services seeks a replacement worker for its Children’s Outreach Program. Provide one-to-one support, parental support, family empowerment, skill building, and recreational activities. Work independently with children with varied disabilities while contributing to a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-to-one support for children with disabilities
- Offer support to parents and families
- Assist with family empowerment
- Lead skill-building and recreational activities
- Transport clients using your personal vehicle
- Vehicle and valid Class 5 driver’s license required
- Clear and current driver’s abstract
- Proof of two-million-dollar vehicle liability insurance
- Vulnerable Sector and Child Intervention Record Checks
- First Aid, CPR, and disability experience considered assets
