Join the Vanta team as a Senior Full‑Stack Engineer, focusing on Trust products built with AI, continuous monitoring, and automated compliance.
About the Role at VantaVanta’s mission is to help businesses earn and prove trust by enabling continuous, automated security monitoring. The Trust team owns three AI‑powered products—Trust Center, Questionnaire Automation, and Vendor Risk Management—and is actively innovating new offerings. As a Senior Full‑Stack Software Engineer you will lead high‑impact, ambiguous projects across our entire technical stack, mentor a talented engineering team, and shape the direction of our product.
Responsibilities- Lead initiatives: bring clarity to ambiguity, define product scope, and solve for technical complexity.
- Work with Product and Design partners to shape technical solutions that meet real customer needs.
- Define architecture, delegate implementation across multiple engineers, and ensure successful outcomes.
- Deliver key portions of the project directly while reviewing and unblocking others.
- Drive knowledge sharing and mentor engineers, including senior engineers.
- Set long‑term technical strategy for your team and raise the engineering quality bar.
- Minimum of 7 years of product‑side full‑stack experience; we often hire Senior Engineers with 7–10+ years of baseline product delivery and tech‑lead experience.
- Experience with our stack:
Type Script, React, Graph
QL. - Track record of successfully leading highly ambiguous and complex projects where problems and solutions are not well defined, while coordinating groups of engineers and working with cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to operate with autonomy, align product and engineering needs, and land high‑quality outcomes.
- Trusted to lead not just code, but also planning, process, and culture.
- Mentors across levels at a team‑wide scale; a technical role model and coach who contributes to and leads programs that uplift the code quality of the team.
