Our public sector client is looking for Senior
Java Developer to developing one or more parts of the Claims Management System and integration with other systems.

1 year contract, hybrid in Greater Vancouver (3 days in office), 40 hrs work week, 8 hrs per day

Specific Responsibilities and Deliverables:

The Java-Cúram Developer will be responsible for developing one or more parts of the Claims Management System and integration with other systems, including designing to fit into the enterprise architecture, prototyping the user interface, implementing, unit testing, and integrating the components that are part of the solution. This position fully participates in agile activities that support the team’s delivery and continuous improvement, promoting a respectful and collaborative culture.

Mandatory Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).

6 - 9 years of hands-on experience in Java development and either DB2 or Oracle.

Must be willing to work Cúram

Proven experience leading the planning, design, and delivery of complex, enterprise-scale Java applications in an agile environment.

A proactive and reliable technical analyst who focuses on achieving results, excels at learning new and complex areas independently
, and consistently takes responsibility to see solutions through to completion.

Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership by guiding system and subject matter experts, influencing solution design, and evaluating technical approaches.
