Job Summary
We are looking for an Experienced V&V Engineer to join our software quality team. The role focuses on hands-on verification and validation activities for medical-device software products, with independent ownership of assigned internal domains or components, and active contribution to the professional growth of the V&V team.
Essential Functions
Execute software V&V activities according to approved test plans and internal procedures
Design, write, and maintain medical-device related V&V documentation, including test cases, execution records, and traceability.
Take end-to-end ownership of V&V activities for an assigned domain, including:
Test design and execution
Documentation and traceability
Defect reporting and follow-up
Perform manual and exploratory testing across mobile, web, and cloud systems.
Manage defects in JIRA and verify fixes and regression impact.
Prepare clear, audit-ready test evidence and support release readiness activities.
Collaborate closely with R&D and cross-functional teams.
Mentor and support other V&V engineers, including reviews of test artifacts and sharing best practices.
Proactively identify quality risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Required/Preferred
Education and Experience
Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or similar equivalent degree. required
4+ years of experience in software testing / verification / validation. required
Experience in medical-device or regulated software environments.
Experience with test management tools (e.g., Test Rail).
Proven experience writing medical-device related V&V documentation
Experience mentoring or supporting other team members.
Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
Experience testing mobile applications testing (iOS / Android). preferred
Familiarity with FDA/CE expectations for software verification and validation in medical devices. preferred
Experience with risk-based testing in regulated or medical software products. preferred
Using API testing. preferred
