• Architect and develop the next generation of book and records systems that power the employer's platform
• Provide technical structure to teams and collaborate with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables using your technical expertise
• Mentor and train other team members on design techniques and coding standards
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to translate product and technical vision into actionable roadmaps

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering
• Proven experience in building fault-tolerant, highly reliable systems at scale
• Demonstrated ability to architect and develop solutions to ambiguous problems with significant impact
• Experience with Ledgering or Trading systems at scale
• Passion for building an open financial system that brings the world together

• Experience with Aeron, Raft, and high-performance Java
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency and on-chain activities, such as interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with dApps or blockchain-based services
• Experience in rapidly growing companies, particularly in scaling from small teams to larger engineering groups
