Located in Rostock, Germany, or Dartmouth, NS, the Senior Firmware Developer will leverage over seven years of experience in embedded firmware development using C++. Key tasks include mentoring junior developers, creating firmware strategies for harsh conditions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and debug bare metal firmware for microcontrollers

• Mentor junior developers through code reviews and coaching

• Develop strategies for firmware reliability in extreme conditions

• Collaborate with teams to ensure firmware integration

• Conduct hardware-in-the-loop testing and diagnostics

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering

• 7+ years in embedded firmware development with C++

• Experience with reliability-critical firmware in harsh environments

• Familiarity with Agile practices and Dev Ops tools

• Proficiency in Git and Python for scripting and testing
