This position, under the supervision of the Parks & Recreation Manager, is a casual role with a focus on implementing recreational programs and activities. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years in the field and possess strong organizational and communication skills.

Your role will directly contribute to the success of programs aimed at all demographic groups in Dawson City.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and implement recreational events and workshops

• Coordinate with community user groups and providers

• Manage registration and handle troubleshooting tasks

• Update social media and community announcements

• Research funding opportunities and write applications

Requirements:

• Graduate of Grade 12 or equivalent education

• At least 2 years in community recreation planning

• Proficient in computer software for management tasks

• Experience handling community coordination efforts

• Standard First Aid certification required
