Position: Local Class AZ Driver (Unionized)
Location: Corunna

Clean Harbors in Corunna, ON is seeking a local Class AZ Driver to join their safety-conscious team. The successful candidate must hold a Class AZ License and will operate a variety of units to perform hazardous and non-hazardous waste pickups at various client sites. This is a Unionized position.

Responsibilities

Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.

Drive, operate, and maintain assigned units (roll off, luggers, tankers, vans, etc.).

Guarantee proper loading and unloading of hazardous/non-hazardous waste.

Perform pre‑and‑post‑trip inspections and ensure the equipment is always mechanically sound and in good working order.

Ensure proper placarding of vehicles to meet all requirements and regulations.

Complete field‑level risk assessments and other related paperwork.

Work as part of a team with customers, co‑workers & supervisors.

Qualifications

Class AZ commercial license required.

Ability to be clean shaven and wear all required PPE.

FAST Card highly preferred; minimum requirement to hold a valid passport and no restrictions.

Reliable transportation to commute to the facility required.

Hazardous waste/TDG experience highly preferred.

Previous tanker or roll‑off experience is required.

Ability to drive up to an 18‑speed manual transmission required.

Ability to work/drive in all weather conditions for extended periods of time.
