Part-Time Truck Driver

Position: Part-Time Truck Driver at National Diabetes Trust
Location: Ontario Centre (Queensville)

Be an integral part of the National Diabetes Trust team as a Charitable Donations Pickup Driver. This part-time role involves route driving to collect donations and support diabetes initiatives.

In this position, you will operate vehicles safely, conduct inspections, and manage required paperwork. Your driving will support operations by ensuring donations are collected efficiently from donors' homes and bins. You will also maintain logs and report on any discrepancies encountered while on duty.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote the National Diabetes Trust mission to the community

• Drive safely and adhere to all applicable laws

• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Maintain accurate Hours-of-Service logs daily

• Unload merchandise and return equipment as instructed

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education or equivalent experience

• Clean driver abstract with no recent violations

• Strong organizational skills for efficient route planning

• Minimum five years of relevant driving experience

• Valid Class 5 or G driver’s license required
