Yard Truck Driver (Shunter)  Job

Responsibilities   Operate shunt truck to move trailers within the yard.
Communicate with shipping personnel to ensure efficient movement of trailers.
Report any issues or damages to trailers.
Complete routine service on trucks, including checking fluids, fuel, and air.
Report all maintenance issues and malfunctions.
Assist with loading or unloading of products or materials, using specialized equipment when warranted.
Unload empty pallets and return all equipment to designated area.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment and follow safety regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications   At least 3 years of relevant experience operating a tractor‑trailer or spotter truck.
Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
Good organizational and time‑management skills.
Solution‑oriented problem‑solver.
Compensation  Pay: $20.00 per hour. Eligibility for a short‑term incentive.
