Warehouse Dock Worker

Position: Warehouse Dock Worker Needed
Location: Carmacks

Help facilitate logistics at Manitoulin Transport as a Dock Worker.

Your role will focus on unloading, loading, and ensuring efficient inventory management within the warehouse.

In this position, you will handle freight operations, including marking materials and maintaining accurate records. You will also play a crucial part in upholding safety standards and optimizing space in trailers. Shifts are available from 16:30 to 20:30, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload freight efficiently

• Accurately mark identifying information on materials

• Maintain detailed records of items handled

• Count and occasionally weigh items for compliance

• Actively participate in warehouse maintenance tasks

Requirements:

• WHMIS/Dangerous Goods Certificate obtainable with training

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• Must be able to multitask

• Familiarity with AS400 system is a plus
