Location: Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands

Enhance road safety as a Highway Maintenance Worker/Operator with Emcon Services Inc. This role requires operating maintenance equipment and executing essential upkeep tasks while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

As a Highway Maintenance Worker/Operator, your contributions will directly impact public safety and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will involve operating light and heavy machinery, upkeeping necessary documentation such as safety checks, and conducting routine maintenance. It’s essential to maintain communication regarding highway conditions and report any incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a variety of maintenance equipment efficiently

• Complete necessary operational and safety paperwork

• Execute regular preventative maintenance to equipment

• Maintain facilities and report any issues promptly

• Document highway conditions and any incidents thoroughly

Requirements:

• Hold a valid DZ licence with a clean record

• AZ licence considered beneficial

• Experience in the highway maintenance industry

• Excellent interaction skills with public and agencies

• Physically capable of performing all duties
