Part-Time School Bus Driver Position

Location: Neebing

Drive safely and efficiently as a School Bus Driver with Fort William First Nation. Transport students while adhering to safety protocols and schedules during this permanent part-time role.

The School Bus Driver’s primary responsibility is to ensure safe transportation for students to and from school. Under the direction of the Education Manager, you will follow established routes and schedules. You must maintain students' safety while loading, unloading, and following traffic regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver students safely to homes and schools

• Ensure safety when boarding and exiting the bus

• Enforce bus safety rules and standards

• Complete pre-trip vehicle inspections

• Report vehicle malfunctions and needed repairs

Requirements:

• Minimum one year of safe driving experience

• Class “B” license in Ontario (willing to train)

• Secondary school diploma preferred

• First Aid certification required

• Vulnerable Reference Check mandatory
