Position: Emergency Medic Driver with Gitxsan Safety
Location: Omineca and Yellowhead (Smithers)

Enhance public safety as an Emergency Medic Driver with Gitxsan Safety Services, offering critical medical care on a casual, on-call basis in Northern BC. This role is vital for immediate response at various work sites and events.

You will support health and safety by providing first aid and timely medical transport while working closely with other safety professionals. A valid OFA1 Certificate, S-100/185 certifications, and a Class 5 Driving License are required for candidates. Your contributions will directly impact the effectiveness of medical responses in real-time scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive Medic and patients to medical institutions

• Write detailed medical incident reports

• Ensure medical supplies are adequately stocked

• Comply with local traffic and site regulations

• Collaborate with team members for enhanced safety

Requirements:

• Holder of OFA1 Certificate with Transportation Endorsement

• Associated S-100/185 fire safety certifications

• Clean Class 5 Driving License mandatory

• 6 months minimal experience preferred

• Strong ability to communicate effectively
