Drive patients safely to health facilities with the Fort William First Nation as a Medical Van Driver on a 6-month contract. Ensure vehicle cleanliness, patient confidentiality, and compliance with safety protocols.

As a Medical Van Driver, you will provide vital transportation services while adhering to health guidelines and maintaining vehicle standards. This role involves loading patients, performing pre-trip inspections, and maintaining clear communication with dispatch. Your commitment to safety and patient care will be essential in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive patients to and from healthcare facilities

• Maintain cleanliness and disinfection of the vehicle

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks

• Complete mileage logs for each transport

• Communicate effectively with central dispatch and health staff

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Valid Driver's License with clean abstract

• Experience in defensively driving preferred

• Strong mechanical aptitude for vehicle maintenance

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
