Take on a vital role at Alberta Provincial Highways as a Snowplow and Heavy Equipment Operator. Your responsibilities will include operating essential machinery for road maintenance year-round.

In this role, you will operate snowplow trucks and perform tasks like crack sealing and pothole repair under various weather conditions. The position requires flexibility, as it includes on-call duties and shift work. Your skills will help ensure that Alberta’s highways are safely maintained every season.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate snowplow trucks and other heavy machinery

• Conduct crack sealing and repair potholes

• Clean bridges and signage effectively

• Work outdoors, adapting to all weather conditions

• Perform required shift work and be on-call

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1, 2, or 3 driver’s license with air endorsement

• Clear three-year driving abstract

• Successful pre-employment drug and alcohol screening

• Relevant experience with snowplow trucks preferred

• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks
