Parts Counter Attendant West Kootenays

Support parts sourcing and inventory control as a Part-Time Parts Counter Attendant with Summit in West Kootenays, BC. Help technicians, customers, and vendors keep maintenance moving.
The Parts Counter Attendant supports Summit’s daily parts department operations for internal shop operations and external customers. You will source, order, receive, stock, and distribute parts while maintaining accurate records. The work includes customer service, supplier coordination, parts documentation, and safe warehouse organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist customers, drivers, and technicians with parts identification
Source, order, receive, inspect, and distribute parts
Process orders, invoices, credits, returns, and warranty claims
Monitor inventory levels and support cycle and annual counts
Maintain organized warehouse areas and accurate company records
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous parts, warehouse, inventory, or customer service experience
Computer proficiency and ability to learn management systems
Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence and acceptable driver’s abstract
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
Bring organization, customer service, and inventory skills to Summit’s parts operations serving customers throughout the West Kootenays.
