Telehandler Operator – Canary Wharf (One-Day Assignment)

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and safety-conscious Telehandler Operator for a one-day assignment on a high-profile construction project in Canary Wharf. This role is ideal for an experienced operator who is confident working in fast-paced, safety-critical environments.

Role Overview

As a Telehandler Operator, you will be responsible for supporting site logistics and material handling operations. You will work closely with site management and trades to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely movement of materials across the project.

This is a short-term, high-responsibility role requiring precision, strong awareness of site safety, and professional conduct.

Key Responsibilities

* Safe and efficient operation of the telehandler

* Lifting, transporting, and positioning materials around site

* Handling suspended loads in accordance with regulations

* Supporting general site logistics and workflow

* Conducting pre-use and daily equipment safety checks

* Maintaining high safety standards at all times

* Communicating effectively with banksmen and site teams

* Working in line with RAMS and site procedures

Essential Requirements

* Valid CPCS Blue Card – Telehandler

* Suspended Loads endorsement (mandatory)

* Full UK Driving Licence (mandatory)

* Proven experience on construction sites

* Strong understanding of health & safety regulations

* Ability to work in busy, high-traffic environments

* Reliable, punctual, and professional

* Rate: £22.00 per hour
