Site Manager

Location: Canary Wharf

CJS Recruitment are seeking experienced and reliable Site Managers with experience in roofing contracts and window / door replacement schemes.
Candidates will oversee day-to-day site operations and manage labour teams on active construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard while maintaining project schedules and site organisation.
We are looking for site managers who have the following :
First aid at work;
Black CSCS card;
Asbestos awareness;
Manual handling;
Working at height .
There is potential for longtermn work on these contracts, if you are experienced with roofing and window/door replacement programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise and coordinate teams of labourers on site on roofing contracts and window / door replacement schemes.
 
* Monitor daily site activities and ensure work is completed on schedule
 
* Enforce health and safety regulations and site procedures
 
* Allocate tasks and provide guidance to site workers
 
* Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers as required
 
* Conduct site inspections and maintain quality standard
 
* Report progress, issues, and incidents to management
Requirements:
 
* Previous experience in construction site supervision
 
* Strong leadership and communication skills
 
* Perfect understanding of construction health and safety practices
 
* Ability to read and follow project plans and schedules
 
* First aid at work
 
* Black CSCS card
 
* Asbestos awareness
 
* Manual handling
 
* Working at height
 
* Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
