Nights Shift Engineer – Electrical Bias
Canary Wharf, London
£56,883 basic + 3% shift allowance
4 on / 4 off | 7:00pm – 7:00am (Nights Only)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Nights Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join a high-profile commercial site in Canary Wharf. This is a permanent role offering excellent long-term benefits, stability, and career progression within a professional engineering environment.
The Role
As a Nights Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe operation of all electrical and associated building services during night hours. You’ll be working within a well-structured team, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance while maintaining high compliance and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
* Electrical fault finding, repairs, and testing
* Monitor and maintain building services systems
* Ensure statutory compliance and accurate record keeping
* Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies
* Liaise with site management and specialist contractors when required
What We’re Looking For
* Electrical bias with strong building services experience
* Level 3 Electrical Qualification or Degree equivalent
* Proven experience within commercial environments
* Good knowledge of electrical systems and associated plant
* Ability to work independently during night shifts
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Commitment to health & safety and compliance
Package & Benefits
