What you'll do: As a highly skilled CNC Programmer, you will utilize the latest version of Mastercam to plan, tool, and generate NC files and setup sheets for jobs to run on Vertical and Horizontal Mills and Lathes. You will provide an elevated level of technical support to machinists, expeditors, and the rest of the team. Fixture design work, estimation support, and hands-on continuous improvement projects will round out daily life.

What you need:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience programming with Mastercam
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of precision CNC mill setup experience
  • Demonstrable proficiency in Mastercam’s current software release Mill and Lathe
  • Knowledge of machining requirements for aluminum, stainless, and plastic materials
  • Ability to set up complex machining operations up to Full 4th-Axis in VMC and HMC
  • Ability to produce clean code, tool lists, and set up sheets
  • Full understanding of G & M codes
  • Excellent blueprint reading skills
  • Experience with all manual inspection equipment and FAI processes
  • Experience assigning tooling applications
  • Technical analysis and manufacturing process routing for estimation of new parts
  • Knowledgeable with Fanuc, Haas, and DMG Mori
  • Ability to work with a team and independently
  • Manage and organize sensitive electronic files
