Civil​/Structural Engineer

Founded in Ohio in 1980, they have expanded our operation to other locations across the United States and Canada, Asa Civil/Structural Engineer,youwillbeworkingwithourteamofengineerstoprovide engineering design and technical support. Responsibilitiesinthisrolewillinclude,butare notlimitedtothefollowing:

- Workwithinprojectschedulesanddeadlines.

- Reviewandbefamiliarwithapproveddesigncriteriaandcodes.

- Reviewscopeofprojecttoclearlydefinewhatourdeliverableswillbe.

- Designandanalyzefoundationsforheavyequipmentandstructures,ensuring stability and structural integrity.

- Designandevaluatemillbuildings,consideringoperationalrequirements.

- Developfallprotectionsystemstoenhanceworkplacesafetyincompliancewith OSHA standards.

- Performstructuralmodificationsandupgradestoexistingcrane runways, includingloadcapacityassessmentsandreinforcementdesigns.

- Conductstructuralanalysisusingindustry-standardsoftwaresandmethodologies.

- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports. Education,Experience and Skills Asuccessfulcandidatewillpossessthefollowing:

- Abilitytointeractandtalkwithclientstoreviewprojectsstatusordeliverables.

- Traveltoclient’ssitetoattendmeetingsorgatheradditionalinformationforthe project.

- Bachelor’sdegreeincivilengineering.

Licensureisnotrequired.

- Beabletoreadandinterpretdrawingsforreviewandreference.

- 3to5 yearspriorexperienceutilizingcivil/structuralengineeringprinciples.

- Proficient in

AutoCADand Solid Works .Familiarityandabilitytoworkwith STAAD software - Knowledgeofapplicablecodes(Technical Report No .
13,CMAA,AISTTR-6, AISC) and other regulations and industrial standards is required.

- Havingpriorexperience working within
