Our client is a modern, progressive accountancy practice based in Cannock, committed to delivering exceptional service to a diverse portfolio of clients. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit two experienced Accounts Semi Seniors to join their friendly and supportive team.

This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious accountancy professionals who are looking to develop their careers within a collaborative and forward-thinking practice.

As an Accounts Semi Senior, you will play a key role in supporting a varied client portfolio, preparing accounts, and building strong relationships with clients. You will work closely with senior team members while enjoying the opportunity to develop your technical skills and progress your career.

• . Preparing statutory accounts for a range of clients.
• . Assisting with the preparation of management accounts.
• . Preparing VAT returns and supporting bookkeeping activities.. Liaising with clients to resolve queries and provide excellent service.
• . Supporting senior accountants and managers with client assignments.
• . Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
• . Using cloud accounting software to maintain and process financial information.

We are looking for motivated and experienced accountancy professionals who can demonstrate:

• . Approximately five years' experience working within an accountancy practice.
• . ACCA qualified (or nearing completion may also be considered).
• . Strong working knowledge of Xero and Sage accounting software.
• . Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• . Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
• . A proactive approach and willingness to contribute to a positive team environment.
